Bubba blows a gasket, pops a vein, goes Ditka faced! Bin Laden was in his talon grip right where he wanted him until the reckless Bush Tax Cuts, Florida 2000 and environmental policies let him get away.

"But at least I tried. That's the difference in me and some, including all of the right-wingers who are attacking me now," Clinton said when asked whether he had failed to fully anticipate bin Laden's danger. "They had eight months to try, they did not try. I tried. So I tried and failed."

You had 8 years but oh well. Whilst Al Queda was happily smithereening U.S. interest around the world all throughout the '90s you were busy seasoning cigars with Monica and couldn't be bothered. Poor Bubba.

Filed under justice served:

Man Beaten after showing porn to
schoolchildren:

DALLAS — About a dozen residents of a Dallas neighborhood beat a man after reports that he had been showing pornographic pictures to children on a playground, police said.

Brandon Scott Burke, 20, showed up Wednesday at an Oak Cliff apartment complex and was alleged to have shown a magazine with pictures of naked women to some of the children playing there, police said.

Fitzmass Fizzles:

The judge in the CIA leak case ruled Thursday that if Special Counsel Patrick Fitzgerald feels that admitting certain classified documents at the upcoming trial of I Lewis "Scooter" Libby can jeopardize national security, Fitzgerald can then move to dismiss the perjury charges against Libby.

Remember the Winnie the Poohesque, Christmassy childlik e wonder of many of our friends on the Sensitive Left as they anticipated an indictment of Karl "The Architect" Rove? When it was announced it was going to be I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby, a Darth Cheney production, you could hear their collective crest fall from the International Space Station. Well, now it appears their dreams are further defered. How many millions of taxpayer dollars were wasted that could have been spent on other more pressing, worthy causes like the study of rainforests in Iowa? Attaching notes to pigeon's legs, destroying household pests? What a waste.....

The swirling, sucking, boiling seas of Al Gore's apocalyptic nightmares appear to be just
that:

Despite the long term warming trend seen around the globe, the oceans have cooled in the last three years, scientists announced today.

The temperature drop, a small fraction of the total warming seen in the last 48 years, suggests that global warming trends can sometimes take little dips.

In the last century, Earth's temperature has risen about 1 degree Fahrenheit (0.56 degrees Celsius). Most scientists agree that much of the warming in the past 50 years has been fueled by the burning of fossil fuels and other human activities.

1 degree Fahrenheit in 100 years??? That's what we're fighting about? Sheeeit! Scientists have unearthed ice core samples from Greenland and Antarctica that show the Earth's climate flucuating by as much as 10 to 14 degrees in as short a period as 20 years and there was little human activity during the times from which these samples were taken. All you have to do is watch the Science Channel regularly and they (without even trying to) destroy the whole man caused global warming theory in about two paragraphs. Sheesh, 1100 years ago Greenland was green. And no! Not all scientists agree. Nice try.

Iraq War fuels
Terror:

The New York Times newspaper has published what it says are the findings of a classified US intelligence paper on the effects of the Iraq war.

The document reportedly blames the conflict for increasing the threat of terrorism and helping fuel Islamic radicalism worldwide.

As I pointed out previously, terrorists may be fueling soldier recruitment.

Venezuela's forign minister illegally detained by Bush Shock
Troops:

Venezuela's foreign minister said he was illegally detained for 90 minutes by officials at a New York airport and accused them of treating him abusively by trying to frisk and handcuff him.

U.S. officials called Saturday's incident regrettable and said they had apologized to Foreign Minister Nicolas Maduro. Maduro called that insufficient and said Venezuela would seek a legal challenge through the U.N. to what he called a "flagrant violation of international law" and his diplomatic immunity.

Who's next Mr. President? Me?

Hugo "Edna the Arm" Chavez was outraged and had this to say:

"They have held him accusing him of participating in terrorist acts," Chavez said in Venezuela. "He didn't even participate in that patriotic rebellion."

I thought the word "Patriotic" was only used by devils seeking ultimate power or as Noam would say: "Hegemony"or better yet "Suzerain." Use that word at your next cocktail party!

Hilarious bit from Neal Boortz
09.23.06 (9:22 am)   [edit]
We hear all the time how President Bush both controls and is responsible for the high gas prices we have been experiencing so as to enrich his oil baron friends! Well here's proof:

Boortz:

When I was in the Oval Office last week the president took me to a secret room nestled in between his office and his private dining room.  In the middle of that room there was a table and a single chair.

Bush:

"This is the first thing I do every morning, right after I walk Beasley and Barney." the president said as he logged on to the computer.  He then entered an Internet address, then his user name and password.  Four boxes appeared on the screen labeled "regular," "mid-grade," "premium," and "diesel."  The president entered three digits into each box.  These digits would be the prices that consumers would pay for gas across the country until the next time the president logs on.

The horror of it all! The fact that we the trodden on proletarian puppets are forced to dance on the strings  of this madman!!

Ahnold gives up Hummers. I'll leave the obvious joke alone only to state that Ahnold is becoming quite the disappointment, catering to environmental correctness and all that. If I had the money I'd drive 3 Hummers (at once) just to piss off the Club Sierra crowd. I wonder if Al has catered to environmental sensitivities?

Al Gore has spoken: The world must embrace a "carbon-neutral lifestyle." To do otherwise, he says, will result in a cataclysmic catastrophe. "Humanity is sitting on a ticking time bomb," warns the website for his film, An Inconvenient Truth. "We have just 10 years to avert a major catastrophe that could send our entire planet into a tailspin."

For someone who says the sky is falling, he does very little. He says he recycles and drives a hybrid. And he claims he uses renewable energy credits to offset the pollution he produces when using a private jet to promote his film. (In reality, Paramount Classics, the film's distributor, pays this.)

Public records reveal that as Gore lectures Americans on excessive consumption, he and his wife Tipper live in two properties: a 10,000-square-foot, 20-room, eight-bathroom home in Nashville, and a 4,000-square-foot home in Arlington, Va. (He also has a third home in Carthage, Tenn.) For someone rallying the planet to pursue a path of extreme personal sacrifice, Gore requires little from himself.

Gore has held these apocalyptic views about the environment for some time. So why, then, didn't Gore dump his family's large stock holdings in Occidental (Oxy) Petroleum? As executor of his family's trust, over the years Gore has controlled hundreds of thousands of dollars in Oxy stock. Oxy has been mired in controversy over oil drilling in ecologically sensitive areas.

What a fucking drip. If I were to drive 3 Hummers at once and wear radioactive pants I would still pollute less than this fucktard.

Hit Maker: Hugo (pronounced "Yugo") "Edna the Arm" Chavez propels Noam Chomsky's book Hegemony or Survival or "Bush is a Chimp, Laura's a Stepford Wife, the Daughters are Sorority Sluts, Brit Hume's the Devil," to the top of the Bestseller
list

Want to eliminate crime? Try
this:

Greenleaf, Idaho -- All Americans have the right to bear arms.  Some towns have even gone as far as to require each household to have a gun.   Now a small Idaho town is contemplating a similar idea-- it's called the Civil Emergencies Ordinance. And although gun ownership is just one piece of this ordinance, it's the part that's getting the most attention.

An armed society is a polite society? We'll find out. Personally, I don't think people should be forced to own guns that don't want them, that's just as bad as the Gun Grabber crowd trying to take them from everyone.

Today's Hard News Story may be gleaned
here.

Tom Cruise wants to eat Michael Moore's placenta. We're told all the time how the War on Terror is creating more terrorists, well it seems that the burgeoning ranks of terrorists are creating more soldiers:

WASHINGTON (AP) -- The Army is ending its best recruiting year since 1997 and expecting similar success in 2007, despite the weight of grim war news from Iraq, Army Secretary Francis Harvey said Thursday.

In an Associated Press interview, Harvey said the Army will enlist its 80,000th soldier on Friday, reaching its goal for the year with eight days to spare. That is a considerable turnaround from last year when the Army missed its target for the first time since 1999 and by the widest margin in more than two decades.

I know, cycle of violence and all that, but I blame the Bush tax cuts....

Uber leftist and Chomsky acolyte, Hugo "Edna The Arm" Chavez denounces Bush as the Devil:

UNITED NATIONS -- President Hugo Chávez of Venezuela denounced President Bush yesterday as ``the devil himself" and ``a world dictator" in an impassioned speech to the UN General Assembly, prompting sharp criticism from US officials.

Wow, riveting stuff. Right out of the hallowed halls of DemocraticUndergr ound.com, the mouth of my soon to be ex Uncle-in-law Bill, Jimmy Carter and other liberal rant sites. Shuttle lands safely, Bush off the hook, for now.

The Flowering Left to begin
probes:

"We all understand how important the war on terror is, especially the ongoing fighting in Iraq," said a spokeswoman for Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist. "It's no surprise, however, that on the day after a national poll showed improving American attitudes toward the liberation of Iraq that the Democrat leadership would want to change the subject."

Watch the fun as the democrats take both houses in November and enact their One Point Plan for America: impeachment, impeachment, impeachment, feed the slavering beast.

Fun with
DrudgeStreisand's new look:

Where's Cindy Sheehan?
Are her 1,289,333,100,683,500,741 ,268,387,900.175 minutes of fame finally up? Did the land deal fall through?

Popeye said to be in Cartoon deto x
clinic sources close to the Hollywood legend confirmed yesterday:

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Investigators are focusing on three counties in central California in the search for the source of an E. coli outbreak linked to fresh spinach that has spread to 23 states and sickened 146 people, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration said on Wednesday.

VDH on the upcoming November elections:

Despite their dreams of recapturing one or both houses of Congress this November, the Democrats seem determined to reprise their poor showings in 2002 and 2004. Now, as then, they are dozing in the campaign's homestretch, like Aesop's hare, lulled by rosy predictions and the premature applause of Hollywood and the mainstream press. Soon, however, they may awake to discover that while they snoozed before the finish line, George W. Bush hunkered down in his tough shell, kept his slow legs moving, and inched them out.

Does Puppet Master Rove have one more trick up his balding, doughy sleeve?
Only time will tell!

Reckless Bush Environmental Policies lead to Space Garbage.....
09.20.06 (7:30 am)   [edit]
Maximum Leader HitlerBurton W. McChimpstein's reckless environmental policies have led to staggering new problems that could have negative ramifications for the entire solar system: Space Garbage says Senate Minority Leader Harry "Hank, Artemis the Chin"Reid. "The President's careless, sinister, anything goes tax cuts for the rich, corporate lickspittle venomous policies regarding Gaia and her immediate environs are seeping off planet as we speak."

"This bag, floating above our fragilely balanced planet has come to symbolize this administration's hatred for Mother Earth." Kang, Captain of the cloaked Klingon scout vessel, Claw of Death was quoted as saying "Glorkfa? Where 's my fucking lunch? Did you space it again?"

Nazi to address the UN General Assembly:

President Bush says he will not meet with Ahmadinejad..saying the United States won't meet with Iran until it agrees to stop enriching uranium.  So this sets up an interesting series of events.  There will be the president of the United States, speaking at the podium at the United Nations.  In the audience will be the president of the biggest state sponsor of terrorism in the world, Iran.  And it will all be in New York, where Al-Qaeda slaughtered 3,000 innocent people 5 years ago.  Unreal, isn't it?

And watch the media coverage of the two speeches.  Bush will get up, tout democracy gains in places like Iraq, Lebanon, Afghanistan and so on.  But expect Ahmadinejad's speech to get better press.  After all, he will be criticizing the United States...a prospect the media loves.  And where does this leave the Democrats?

Bush
tortures Canadian Man in Syria:

OTTAWA, Sept. 18 — A government commission on Monday exonerated a Canadian computer engineer of any ties to terrorism and issued a scathing report that faulted Canada and the United States for his deportation four years ago to Syria, where he was imprisoned and tortured.
The report on the engineer, Maher Arar, said American officials had apparently acted on inaccurate information from Canadian investigators and then misled Canadian authorities about their plans for Mr. Arar before transporting him to Syria.

Duh:

The Senate, which has been the major obstacle to strict border-security legislation this year, will take up a bill this week that calls for constructing 700 more miles of fencing along the U.S.-Mexico border.

The Senate is a major obstacle to a lot of things. Today's Hard News may be gleaned here.

Hitler's Approval Rating Soars to 44%.

WASHINGTON — Amid falling gas prices and a two-week drive to highlight his administration's efforts to fight terrorism, President Bush's approval rating has risen to 44% in a new USA TODAY/Gallup Poll. That's his highest rating in a year.
The poll also showed likely voters evenly divided between Democratic and Republican candidates for Congress, 48%-48%. Among registered voters, Democrats had a 51%-42% advantage.

Things are getting interestinger and interestinger, the Social Democrats and their coronation dreams are in danger of being dashed. Voter machine irregularities will be the culprit as the Mean Spirited Republicans pull into a statistical dead heat and insert Wolverines, Goa'uld Symbiotes and Alien Shock Troops in voting booths. The Architect works his magic....

Social Republican wants to pay the
poor:

NEW YORK (AP) -- Poor New Yorkers who make healthy choices - such as staying in school and regularly seeing the doctor - should be rewarded with cash to help break the cycle of poverty, Mayor Michael Bloomberg suggested Monday.
The idea, which has seen success in countries including Brazil and Mexico, developed out of an anti-poverty commission's report released Monday. The commission did not specifically propose using rewards but did suggest the city find innovative ways to help its 1.5 million poor lift themselves out of poverty.

Thomas Sowell: Suicidal Hand Wringing:

When you enter a boxing ring, you agree to abide by the rules of boxing. But when you are attacked from behind in a dark alley, you would be a fool to abide by the Marquis of Queensbury rules. If you do, you can end up being a dead fool.

Even with a nuclear Iran looming on the horizon and the prospect that its nuclear weapons will end up in the hands of international terrorists that it has been sponsoring for years, many in the media and in the government that is supposed to protect us have been preoccupied with whether we are being nice enough to the terrorists in our custody.

The issue has been brought to a head by the efforts of Senators John McCain, John Warner, and Lindsey Graham to get us to apply the rules of the Geneva convention to cutthroats who respect no Geneva convention and are not covered by the Geneva convention.

If this was just a case of a handful of headstrong senators, who want us to play by the Marquis of Queensbury rules while we are being kicked in the groin and slashed with knives, that would be bad enough. But the issue of applying the Geneva convention to people who were never covered by the Geneva convention originated in the Supreme Court of the United States.

Sheltered for years from terrorist dangers that we so much feared after the September 11th attacks, many have come to act as if those dangers do not exist and that we now have the luxury of dismantling the means by which they have been held at bay this long.

In a country where all sorts of individuals and organizations tap into our personal computers and our computerized medical, financial and other records, some have gone ballistic over the fact that the federal government tries to keep track of who is being phoned by international terrorist organizations.

No amount of security precautions can protect us from all the thousands of ways in which terrorists can strike at times and places of their own choosing -- and eventually strike with nuclear weapons. Our only hope is to get advance information from those we capture as to where other terrorists are and how they operate.

Squeamishness about how this is done is not a sign of higher morality but of irresponsibility in the face of mortal dangers.

Penis transplant reversed:

"The patient finally decided to give up the treatment because of the wife's psychological rejection, as well as the swollen shape of the transplanted penis" Hu added

Isn't it supposed to swell? Maybe his wife felt she was being unfaithful....

Screw it, I'm back. Albeit on a limited basis..

Bush victim washes up near set of CSI Miami:

A man's body floated up near where a crew was filming a scene for the crime show "CSI: Miami," authorities said.

The body washed up early Friday in Biscayne Bay at Bicentennial Park, which film crews were using as a helicopter staging ground for aerial shots of a fictional offshore investigation for the CBS show, police said.

A homeless man (another Bush victim) spotted the body and alerted an off-duty police officer who was working security on the set, police said.

Security beefed up around Pontiff:

The Pope in a bit of a
pickle:

Italian media reported that security around Pope Benedict XVI has been beefed up following the harsh responses to his remarks on Islam.

On Sunday the pope is expected to deliver his weekly sermon from his summer home, and it is still not clear whether he will address the international uproar his comments have stirred.

In a speech delivered last week in Germany the pope quoted 14th-century Byzantine emperor Manuel II Paleologus who said: "Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached."

Not nice, painting with a broad brush?Perhaps. But I've heard people say similar things about Christians and few got their shorts in a bunch over it. You know the riff, all Christians want to do is burn people at the stake that disagree with them, Hitler was a Christian, Bush is a Christian, Bush therefore is Hitler, Hitler therefore is Bush, Christians want to revive the Crusades and let's not forget Rosie O'Donnells brilliant thesis that extremist Christians are more dangerous than extremist Muslims, blah,blah,blah....I wonder if security is being beefed up around Rosie? Rosie is beefed up around Rosie, this much I know...

Ooh boy! Another book from
Gore. I wonder what the Earth Destroying menace is that he'll  tackle this time? Let's see:

Although saying he has no plans to run for president in 2008, former vice president Al Gore has nonetheless left the door ever so slightly ajar. It's a good bet that door will swing open a good bit wider come next May.

That is when Gore is scheduled to publish his next book. With no fanfare, he signed a few weeks ago with Penguin Press to write "The Assault on Reason."

As described by editor Scott Moyers, the book is a meditation on how "the public arena has grown more hostile to reason," and how solving problems such as global warming is impeded by a political culture with a pervasive "unwillingness to let facts drive decisions."

Sounds like typical Gore spewage. Please run.

According to John Kerry, Bin Laden was in Iowa:

Kerry Accuses Bush of Abandoning Bin Laden Hunt In Iowa...

'Nuff said there...

Bill Maher Not "Free" To Speak On
CBS:

"On Friday's Real Time on HBO, Maher explained that CBS approached him to do a 'freeSpeech' segment on the new Evening News. He asked if he could talk about religion but was rejected and told that he would be provided with a list of 'approved' topics," an e-mailer says. A second e-mailer asks: "Was he 'free' to express his views as long as he did not touch religion?..."

You mean as long as he didn't touch Chrsitianity? I've seen Bill in action many times. Look at me, here's a guy (me) who would best describe himself as "not particularly religious" getting annoyed by all the Christophobia that's out there...I'm jumping the gun a bit perhaps about what he would say I know, but that having been said, I think Bill should be allowed to say whatever he wants, that would be a far greater courtesy than he extends to a lot of his guests...

Another hackneyed cliche from George
Soros. You'll never guess what it is. Wait for it...Bush is a Nazi!! What a dipshit...that doesn't even annoy me anymore. It never really did. One thing that just now struck me is how much George Soros looks like Danny Thomas. Coincidence? I think not!!

Gotta drum up those election fears in
advance:

An overhaul in how states and localities record votes and administer elections since the Florida recount battle six years ago has created conditions that could trigger a repeat -- this time on a national scale -- of last week's Election Day debacle in the Maryland suburbs, election experts said.

In the Nov. 7 election, more than 80 percent of voters will use electronic voting machines, and a third of all precincts this year are using the technology for the first time. The changes are part of a national wave, prompted by the federal Help America Vote Act of 2002 and numerous revisions of state laws, that led to the replacement of outdated voting machines with computer-based electronic machines, along with centralized databases of registered voters and other steps to refine the administration of elections.

Ever since 2000 voter machine (or voter) irregularitie s have become the norm. Whenever a democrat loses, voter irregularities will be the reason. The unspoken truth? Rove, pit bulls, voting machines,Wolfowitz at the World Bank, jackboots, ok I'm blowing things out of proportion a bit...no I'm not! Just listen to some of those guys...

Liberal Censorship - Review and Comment Returns in Late October
09.08.06 (6:49 am)   [edit]
This is truly appalling, that the Clinton Administration and prominent Democrats can call on network executives to cut and splice or even pull a documentary on 9/11 because it casts them in a less than favorable light and said network executives in question may cave in to their protests...

NEW YORK -- A mini-series about the events leading up to the Sept. 11 attacks is "terribly wrong" and ABC should correct it or not air it, former Clinton administration officials said in letters to the head of the network's parent company.

But in a statement Thursday ABC said, "No one has seen the final version of the film, . . . so criticisms . . . are premature and irresponsible."

From Boortz:

The problem, you see, is that in this movie the Clinton Administration is portrayed as treating Islamic terrorism as nothing more than a law enforcement problem.  There is one scene in the move where Intelligence officials are discussing an attempt to kill or capture Osama bin Laden.  The Clinton administration is refusing to authorize the action.  Permission denied.  The Clinton aide says that the problem is that Clinton views terrorism as largely a law enforcement problem.  The intelligence official asks "How do you win a law and orderly war?"  The aide responds "You don't."

You can sputter and spin all you want about President Bush and his handling of the war on Islamic fascism, you cannot deny that since 9/11 he has been dedicated to the cause of crushing Islamic terrorism over there before they bring it back over here.  Sounds like a good plan to me.

Similarly -- there is no way in hell that any reasonable man can argue that the Clinton administration was dedicated to crushing Islamic terrorism.  Clinton did indeed treat it like a law enforcement program.  After the first Islamic terrorist attack on the World Trade Center in 1993 Clinton did not even bother to visit New York City to view the damage, talk to survivors and the families of those who lost their lives, or meet with NYC officials and first responders.

And what of the attack on the U.S. Cole?  This was an attack on a U.S. Navy warship.  Clinton was the Commander in Chief.  The response?  At best, lob a few cruise missiles.  That's it.  Nothing more.

So ... now the battle is joined.  ABC has this miniseries ready to run.  The producers say that it's largely based on the findings of the 9/11 Commission report as well as interviews with the people involved.  Apparently the miniseries shows Clinton to be relatively unconcerned about terrorism, and not dedicated to the cause of bringing in bin Laden.

Our friends on the Left will probably get their way to some degree....

And yes, in late October or thereabout, Review and Comment on the News will return. So, Surrogate my good man you can start yelling at me again..... :)
