Public vastly misinformed about Global Warming:
WASHINGTON, Dec. 6 /U.S. Newswire/ -- David Deming, an associate professor at the University of Oklahoma and an adjunct scholar with the National Center for Policy Analysis (NCPA), testified this morning at a special hearing of the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee. The hearing examined climate change and the media. Bellow are excerpts from his prepared remarks. "In 1995, I published a short paper in the academic journal Science. In that study, I reviewed how borehole temperature data recorded a warming of about one degree Celsius in North America over the last 100 to 150 years. The week the article appeared, I was contacted by a reporter for National Public Radio. He offered to interview me, but only if I would state that the warming was due to human activity. When I refused to do so, he hung up on me. "I had another interesting experience around the time my paper in Science was published. I received an astonishing email from a major researcher in the area of climate change. He said, "We have to get rid of the Medieval Warm Period." "The Medieval Warm Period (MWP) was a time of unusually warm weather that began around 1000 AD and persisted until a cold period known as the "Little Ice Age" took hold in the 14th century. ... The existence of the MWP had been recognized in the scientific literature for decades. But now it was a major embarrassment to those maintaining that the 20th century warming was truly anomalous. It had to be "gotten rid of." "In 1999, Michael Mann and his colleagues published a reconstruction of past temperature in which the MWP simply vanished. This unique estimate became known as the "hockey stick," because of the shape of the temperature graph. "Normally in science, when you have a novel result that appears to overturn previous work, you have to demonstrate why the earlier work was wrong. But the work of Mann and his colleagues was initially accepted uncritically, even though it contradicted the results of more than 100 previous studies. Other researchers have since reaffirmed that the Medieval Warm Period was both warm and global in its extent. "There is an overwhelming bias today in the media regarding the issue of global warming. In the past two years, this bias has bloomed into an irrational hysteria. Every natural disaster that occurs is now linked with global warming, no matter how tenuous or impossible the connection. As a result, the public has become vastly misinformed."

Global Warming experts confer prior to Bush's tornado ripping through London suburb.
Global Warming causes London Tornado:
Hundreds of people were left homeless today after a tornado ripped through residential streets in north London.Dave Bonner, of London Fire Brigade, said about 100 homes had been damaged in "freak weather", injuring six people in Kensal Rise.
Bush's non-compliance with Kyoto damages London neighborhood.
NK says U.S. has nucular weapons deployed in the South:
North Korea believes Washington has atomic weapons deployed in South Korea and it will not halt its nuclear program as long as this threat persists, Itar-Tass news agency quoted a North Korean source as saying on Thursday. "(North Korea) has practically no doubts that there are U.S. nuclear weapons in the south of the Korean Peninsula," the source told Tass. "North Korea is forced, in the interests of self-defense, to enhance its nuclear capability."
Oh yeah, right! Like you weren't going to anyway, fucking drip. Ah! The French.

Farting Woman grounds airplane:
NASHVILLE, Tenn., Dec 6 (Reuters Life!) - It may be one problem airline security officials never envisioned -- a passenger lighting matches in flight to mask odors from her flatulence. The woman's actions resulted in an emergency landing on Monday in Nashville of an American Airlines flight bound for Dallas from Washington, D.C., said Lynne Lowrance, a spokeswoman for Nashville's airport.Other passengers reported the odor of burned matches, but the woman was not forthcoming when asked about it, Lowrance said on Wednesday."Of course, she was scared and embarrassed but all the passengers had to disembark, all the luggage had to be searched, a canine team was brought in, and about three hours were consumed in sorting out the situation," she said.
Did you know that farts contribute to Global Warming? And...if you light a match to mask the odor you are polluting, so there is no way you can win, you may as well initiate the auto-destruct sequence and render yourself an endangered species....now!!
Bush's Homeland Security shocktroops frisk plane (fossil fuel burning aviation passenger projectile) looking for Global Warming causing methane emissions.

St. Jimmah:
How dare anyone criticize Jimmy Carter:
A longtime aide to Jimmy Carter has resigned from the Carter Center think tank, calling the former president's new book on Israel and the Arabs one-sided and filled with errors.Kenneth Stein, the Carter Center's first executive director and founder of its Middle East program, sent a letter that bluntly criticized the book to Carter and others. Stein wrote that the book, "Palestine: Peace, Not Apartheid," was replete with factual errors, material copied from other sources and "simply invented segments," according to an excerpt of the letter published by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Perhaps St. Jimmah should consider writing his next book about Global Warming!! Imagine the converts were he to turn his homespun sincerity, his Orville Redenbacher with fangs persona loose in the arena of the Global Warming debate....Enveloping...

Shiite leader says true picture is not being shown from Iraq:
"The true picture is not being presented" of what is happening in Iraq, Abdul-Aziz al-Hakim, the Shiite leader of the largest bloc in Iraq's parliament, said today in a joint Oval Office appearance with President Bush. Instead, he said, a "dark picture" is being portrayed that does not show the democratic progress his country has made.
He said it, I didn't, so don't start pissing at me.
Leftists get another scalp: The appeasement train rolls on down the tracks:
Today is a day of celebration for Islamic terrorist all over the globe. Yesterday they won a tremendous victory with the withdrawal of John Bolton's nomination for ambassador to the United Nations. Bolton, who took the job on an interim appointment, didn't have the votes to be confirmed. Rather than risk a fight with the new Democratic Congress, President Bush pulled the nomination.
And just what kind of message does this send? The answer is simple...the message is one of weakness. The Islamic terrorists running the show in Iraq now know that they have a friend in Washington. Those friends are the Democratic party. You have to ask yourself...who benefits most from the Bolton withdrawal? The answer is simple: Iran, North Korea and Al-Qaeda. The Gargoyle is probably putting the check to Howard Dean in the mail as we speak (or maybe he'll just pay him in counterfeit American currency.)
Should we be surprised? Nope. There is a power change taking place in Washington, and appeasement is the order of the day. John Bolton, they say, was too tough; too confrontational. That means he wasn't plaint enough when the international community came calling with their agenda to weaken America. The United Nations is no friend of the United States. Year after year, decade after decade, the U.N. has been working on the side of half-assed third world dictators and the people like Saddam Hussein and against the best interests of its host country. Time are good if you're an Islamic terrorist, a dictator or a member of the insurgency. Our enemies now know that we are weaker. We do not even have the national courage and strength to leave a tough, no-nonsense diplomat in the U.N., an ambassador who wasn't afraid to stand up for our interests and face down Kofi Annan and his corrupt administration. .
Oh..and leading the charge against Bolton? Leftist "Republican" Senator Lincoln Chafee. Nice going, Senator. A weaker America and a stronger United nations will be part of your legacy.
Speaker Erect Nanci "Flower Power and Beads" Pelosi's proposed new Stealth Fighter to drop precious healing stones instead of bombs.
Further evidence of the Bush Police State:
Demetrius "Van" Crocker of McKenzie, convicted in April of attempting to obtain a chemical weapon and possession of stolen explosives, was sentenced to 30 years in prison Tuesday by U.S. District Judge James Todd in Jackson. Crocker, who told undercover FBI agents of his desire to explode a briefcase bomb while Congress was in session, was found guilty by a jury in about 90 minutes in April.
I hate Congress too but gee whiz....watch, the ACLUseless will step forward and demand his release on civil rights violations.
Earth Cooling Slightly:
THE average temperature this year is likely to be amongst the hottest since records began nearly 150 years ago, giving what seems another example of global warming, experts said today.Autumn and early winter temperature records have been set from the Alps to Moscow this year, hurting ski resorts but extending growing seasons. Arctic sea ice shrank to near record lows in the summer.
An extended growing season?? You mean Global Warming could have positive benefits?? What's more important, skiing or feeding people?
Most scientists say world temperatures are creeping higher because of human emissions of greenhouse gases, mainly from burning fossil fuels in power plants, factories and vehicles.
Again, no mention of the Sun's role in influencing the Earth's Climate, it's just your fucking car's fault. Maybe we should start using cars, power plants and factories in deep space to start reseeding the universe with Solar Systems, a shimmering new Galactic Empire could arise from such an undertaking. Giant Solar Masses of SUVs, power plants and factories spinning slowly in space, all alone in the night, bits of interstellar space debris and asteroids would get sucked into their gravitational influence, forming planets and life could begin again. Bwahahahahaha!!
Carter gets hammered as an anti-semite on C-Span.
Newt: The First Amendment is not a Suicide Pact:
I must have hit a nerve. In New Hampshire last week, at a dinner hosted by the Loeb School honoring our 1st-Amendment rights, I called for a serious debate about the 1st Amendment and how terrorists are abusing our rights -- using them as they once used passenger jets -- to threaten and kill Americans. Here's part of what I said: "Either before we lose a city, or, if we are truly stupid, after we lose a city, we will adopt rules of engagement that use every technology we can find to break up [terrorists'] capacity to use the Internet, to break up their capacity to use free speech [protections] and to go after people who want to kill us -- to stop them from recruiting people before they get to reach out and convince young people to destroy their lives while destroying us."
Ooh! Hate Speech! Gotta love it.. More on Bolton bolting:
It was his success in defense of American and democratic interests that doomed him.
You don't really need to read the article, that opening sentence says it all.....

Iranian Weapons Arm Iraqi Militia:
U.S. officials say they have found smoking-gun evidence of Iranian support for terrorists in Iraq: brand-new weapons fresh from Iranian factories. According to a senior defense official, coalition forces have recently seized Iranian-made weapons and munitions that bear manufacturing dates in 2006.
This suggests, say the sources, that the material is going directly from Iranian factories to Shia militias, rather than taking a roundabout path through the black market. "There is no way this could be done without (Iranian) government approval," says a senior official.
Iran is involved in funding the militias? I had no idea. Wow. UN "Peacekeeper" Sex Scandal:
Nearly 180 soldiers, civilians and police in UN peacekeeping missions have been targeted for disciplinary action since the beginning of 2004 for sexual abuse and exploitation and the problem persists, a UN spokesman said Thursday. Despite the UN's “zero tolerance,” Stephane Dujarric said, “acts of sexual exploitation and abuse by UN peacekeeping personnel continue to occur.” “Sexual exploitation and abuse by UN personnel is unacceptable,” he said. “Over the past two years, it's been clear that we have redoubled our efforts ... to prevent these acts from happening, to discipline those who are responsible and to bring assistance to the victims. But we obviously have a ways to go.” The UN peacekeeping department instituted the new policy last year following an investigation that found peacekeepers in Congo had sex with Congolese women and girls, usually in exchange for food or small sums of money. Cases of sexual abuse have also been reported in other peacekeeping missions from Bosnia and Kosovo to Cambodia, East Timor and West Africa.
While most of this was going on all we heard about in America was Abu Ghraib, Abu Ghraib, Abu Ghraib, GITMO, GITMO, GITMO, our soldiers are Nazi torturers.
Democrats already distancing themselves from themselves:
It was a solemn pledge, repeated by Democratic leaders and candidates over and over: If elected to the majority in Congress, Democrats would implement all of the recommendations of the bipartisan commission that examined the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.But with control of Congress now secured, Democratic leaders have decided for now against implementing the one measure that would affect them most directly: a wholesale reorganization of Congress to improve oversight and funding of the nation's intelligence agencies. Instead, Democratic leaders may create a panel to look at the issue and produce recommendations, according to congressional aides and lawmakers.
Mr. Ed Kills One:
Bob Redford's group picks a documentary on man horse sex controversy:
The Sundance Film Festival announced Wednesday that Seattle filmmaker Robinson Devor's documentary "Zoo" has been accepted into the 2007 festival's documentary competition. The film examines the widely reported case of an Enumclaw man who died in 2005 after having sex with a horse. "Zoo" is one of 16 documentaries selected for competition (out of 856 submitted), all of which will screen as world premieres. Devor has had two previous films at Sundance: the made-in-Seattle drama "Police Beat," and "The Woman Chaser." The Sundance Film Festival will take place Jan. 18-28 in Park City, Utah.
Throw this one in with the "Oversight Promise:"
Democrats have long attacked President Bush for the historic tax cuts he ushered through Congress during his first term and have promised to reverse at least some of them. B ut among their top priorities when they take over Congress next month is passing a permanent tax cut of their own. I ncluded in their "Six for '06" platform that they say helped them win majorities in the House and Senate, Democrats promised to: "Make college tuition deductible from taxes, permanently." T heir tax cut promise is neither an election-year gimmick, Democrats say, nor a reversal in their long-standing opposition to Mr. Bush's tax cuts.
Speaker to be Flower Power and Beads: There is no Al Qaeda in Iraq!!
"the 9/11 Commission dismissed that notion a long time ago and I feel sad that the president is resorting to it again."
Al Qaeda in Iraq:
BAGHDAD: Four bombs rocked Baghdad Saturday, as the eyes of Iraq's government and insurgents battling it were turned to Washington, where generals have begun a re-think of strategy in the war-ravaged country.
At least 18 people were killed across Iraq, nine of them in the capital. A car bomb and a roadside bomb exploded in a market in Baghdad's Hafidh al-Qadi area, killing six civilians and wounding 32 others, a security source was quoted as saying.
Two more roadside bombs exploded in Baghdad, killing two and wounding five, while three Iraqis were also reported killed in Baquba, northeast of Baghdad.
Two policemen, including an intelligence officer were also shot dead, while a Christian translator working for the US forces was abducted.
The latest casualties were added to the list of nearly 100 Iraqis killed in the past four days, and with more than 20 US soldiers killed since the start of November.
They come on the heels of threats from Al-Qaeda in Iraq chief Abu Hamza al-Muhajer on Friday, including one to blow up the White House.
Quote of the Day, Neal Boortz:
We should all feel sad that this stupid woman is going to be the new Speaker of the House.
Santa is a religious icon and should be destroyed:
Warwick — Frosty the Snowman is sharing top billing this year with Santa at Sanfordville Elementary School’s annual “Breakfast with Santa.” But the event won’t be billed as “Breakfast with Santa” anymore.
This year, the theme has been changed to a “Winter Wonderland Breakfast,” sparked by one parent wanting to exclude religious inference and include all students.
...grind him under the Iron Heels of Political Correctness, serves him right the fat bastard! One of the Imams taken off a Minneapolis plane last month for suspicious behavior "prayi ng and fanning out in a pattern reminiscent of terrorist tactics" may have ties to terrorism:
Omar Shahin, one of six imams removed from a flight last week, says he has traveled the country since the September 11 attacks to promote understanding of the Muslim religion, but he once worked for a group linked to terrorist financing. He insists that the terrorists who leveled the World Trade Center were not Muslims.

North Korea eradicates AIDS.
SEOUL (Reuters) - North Korea has relied on the wise leadership of Kim Jong-il to make sure there have been no outbreaks of AIDS in the reclusive country, its official media reported on Friday.

Retro Parody: From February '06: Washington D.C.- Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid (D) Nevada, mistakenly ingested an RU 486 tablet, the controversial "morning after pill" while on vacation in Ghana last year and had to have 7 to 9 feet of intestine forcibly re-inserted through his rectum by a local witch doctor say sources close to the Senator. The Senate Minority leader was quick to blame the Bush Administration, the Bush Tax Cuts, lack of universal health care, the NSA, the CIA, Donald Rumsfeld, Karl Rove, Wolfowitz, Art Bell, No Child Left Behind, the "Republican Culture of Corruption", Halliburton and Jack Abramoff who financed the trip. Boy George was unavailable for comment.
