One of Whitley Strieber's "Greys" to testify on the Hill regarding Global Warming:

Proposed questions for Gore:

Mr. Gore: You have said several times that we have 10 years to act to stave off global warming. Was that 10 years from the first time you said that or 10 years from now? We just wanted to get a firm date from you that we can hold you to.

Mr. Gore: How can you continue to claim that global warming on Earth is primarily caused by mankind when other planets Mars, Jupiter (actually, it's Triton as I recall) and Pluto with no confirmed life forms and certainly no man-made industrial greenhouse gas emissions also show signs of global warming? Wouldn’t it make more sense that the sun is responsible for warming since it is the common denominator?

Mr. Gore: Joseph Romm, the executive director for the Center for Energy and Climate Solutions, has said we must build 700 large nuclear plants to stave off climate change. Where do you stand on the need for nuclear energy?

Mr. Gore: Do you think the earth is significantly overpopulated and that is a major contributor to your view of climate change. (If yes, what do you think is a sustainable population for the planet?)

If we are  to rely only on Republican Senators to ask difficult questions of Albert, I'm won't be holding my breath... The Republican grilling of Gore will probably go more like this:

Republican Senator:  Mr. Gore? Are you comfortable? Would you like a mint?

Gore: No! I am not comfortable. Yes! I would love a mint. Garkon! Fetch Hither!

Republican Senator: My Republican Colleague s and I  would like to personally apologize for your discomfort. No further questions. A mint will be hand delivered directly to you by one of Mark Foley's pages, I yield my time to my friends on the other side of the aisle....

Just watch....maybe Democrat John Dingell will grill him. A republican sure as hell won't...I want to see Bjorn Lomborg go at him, that would be nice.
Halliburton Orbital Death Laser Levels Leftist Lovefest:

Cheney's victims moments after the deadly attack

Rosie Weighs in on 9/11:

Among her most "salient" points:

The fires in WTC 7 were not evenly distributed, so a perfect collapse was impossible.
• Silverstein said to the fire department commander “the smartest thing to do is pull it.”
• Firefighters withdrawing from the area stated the building was going to “blow up”.
• The roof of WTC 7 visibly crumbled and the building collapsed perfectly into its footprint.
• Molten steel and partially evaporated steel members were found in the debris.

Cheney seen with detonator, Bush spotted parachuting from the top floor of one of the Towers. Or was it one of  the planes? Android in Florida read "My Pet Goat" upside down to school children.

Filed under "Leftist Skates":

Byron York analyzes Valerie Plame's testimony before the House on Friday, and says it differs considerably from what the Senate discovered in their investigation. Inconsistencies abound and York chronicles just some of them.

During her testimony Friday before the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, former CIA employee Valerie Plame told how her husband, former ambassador Joseph Wilson, came to travel to Niger to investigate claims Iraq had tried to buy uranium there.
It started in February 2002, Mrs. Wilson testified. “A young junior officer who worked for me came to me very concerned, very upset. She had just received a telephone call on her desk from someone, I don’t know who, in the Office of the Vice President, asking about this report of this alleged sale of yellowcake uranium from Niger to Iraq.”It was not clear from Mrs. Wilson’s testimony why the junior officer was upset. But as the young officer told her story, Mrs. Wilson continued, an element of chance intruded. “As she was telling me what had just happened, someone passed by, another officer heard this. He knew that Joe had already — my husband — had already gone on some CIA missions previously to deal with other nuclear matters. And he suggested, ‘Well, why don’t we send Joe?’” That, Mrs. Wilson testified, was the beginning of her husband’s mission to Africa.

As Mrs. Wilson told her story, some members and staff of the Senate Intelligence Committee watched with great interest. (I bet they did, nudge, nudge) As part of its probe into pre-war intelligence, the committee interviewed Valerie Plame Wilson for the portions of the committee’s report dealing with the Niger uranium matter. At that time, as now, the question of how the CIA chose Joseph Wilson for the Niger trip was a subject of great interest. But Missouri Republican Sen. Christopher Bond, vice chairman of the committee, says Mrs. Wilson did not tell the committee about the young junior officer, the call from the vice president’s office, or the passing CIA official who suggested Joseph Wilson’s name.

“Friday was the first time we have ever heard that story,” Sen. Bond said in a statement to National Review Sunday evening. “Obviously if we had, we would have included it in the report. If Ms. Wilson’s memory of events has improved and she would now like to change her testimony, I’m sure the committee staff would be happy to re-interview her.”

Like Richard Clarke before her, so it goes....another episode of "As the StomachTurns"...

I'm curious... when did Richard Clark become a lousy guy exactly? Obviously he's a big liar now, since you imply it, but when did it happen?

And Valerie Plame's a liar too... Uh huh. You do kow that Valerie Plame was told not to tell who the junior officer was, right? I know, I know, that doesn't matter. It doesn't quite fit with your preconceived notions so you'll ignore that...

Uh huh. And Richard Clarke had an axe to grind too...

You didn't mention Shinseki. Come ON! he was a liar too! He said we'd need more poeple to get the job done in Iraq and your hero had the balls to ignore him, cuz he's so honest and bright!

A guy from my home town (who's now on the damn city counsel, of all things - and is a very conservative Republican, by the way) went through training and served with Valerie Plame and has kept up with her carreer from the get-go, AND insists she's been covert forever and was a star within her field... I'll make sure to tell him you know better. After all, like Clarke, he's obviously turned along the way, right?

Oh, by the way, I'd like clarification... Does global warming not exist? -or is it that there's nothing we can do about it if it does? -or is it just a natural climate change that occurs every now and again? You've claimed all these things at one time or another. I wondered which is true and where you got your scientific information to back up your beliefs? The National Review? The Chicago Times? Rush Limbaugh? Or is it other places that end up sourcing from these and like folks?

I'm doing a News fast. Not sure how long it will last but I was getting to the point I was several years ago when I had fantasies of harming Dan Rather. I just can't take it anymore...the lunacy just gives me a headache. Life is much better when I'm living it fat, dumb and happy. :) Just wanted to say hello.

Let's see. You've cured evil businessmen of their wicked capitalist ways, everyone of which (every single one mind you), had a Ronald Reagan photo in his office, you have a friend who worked with Valerie Plame, let me guess, you've worked with Gore on global warming research as well. It was known at the time that Clarke said one thing regarding Iraq in his book and another under testimony. It appears (among many) and I for one would not be surprised, that Val is doing roughly the same thing. Victoria Toensing (the woman who wrote the Intelligence Identity Protection act) said Valerie Plame WAS NOT a covert operative under the law that she (Victoria Toensing) had a hand in crafting, therefore no laws were broken. And no, unlike you, I don't claim to know Mrs. Toensing. Your friend may be right, but many don't agree with him. Oh, and by the way I do believe the Earth is warming up, but if you read the links with any of my posts you would know that I believe the Sun, (you know, that giant fiery ball 93 million miles away that is hundreds upon thousands of times larger than the earth and also verrrry hot) has more to do with it than your car. And we can do everything you and AL want regarding Global Warming and guess what? The Climate will still change...the climate ahs undergone far more drastic climate change than anything that's occuring today...if you bothered to follow any of the links to the stories, you would know where I got my research, James Hogan's site, Scientific American, National Geographic, all of which are part of the vast right wing conspiracy....

Nope. Never siad I cured a single guy. Said the bad guys I dealt with STAYED bad. And being capitalists had nothing to do with it. Obviously you didn't read what I wrote about it.

I also don't know the the guy from my hometown, and didn't say I did. I said I'd be sure to tell him that YOU said he was a liar. Toensig? She has slready admitted she had no idea whether Valerie Plame was covert, you idiot. She said, based on what she'd heard from some news reports and her FRIEND Robert Novak, she didn't think Valerie Plame, whom Toensig has also said she didn't know, would not have been considered covert according to her understanding of the rules she helped craft IF what she'd heard was accurate. It wasn't. Valerie Plame's BOSS, has said very succinctly, that she was. Utter BS argument, and I suspect you know it, or you would if you'd looked into it for fifteen seconds.

So, are you telling me that National Geographic and Scientific American as organizations think there's no such thing as MAN-MADE Global Warming and that there's nothing that can be done? Are you kidding me? Or, as is the case, that they quote dissenters and sometimes print articles ffrom such folks when making their points?

Oh, what's the point, as is the problem with all cement minded people everywhere, (Islamic Fundementalists, Christian fundementalists, Racist goofballs, etc.) you believe what you believe, and that's that. and spend your time proving the earth is flat. The Church, by the way, has some old documentation - bout a thousand years old, that may help you further.

Guess what? The earth? It's round. That big firey ball? You're right, it's way hotter than the earth, and in fact, the earth in is NO danger of disappearing anytime soon. WE are. And, of course, there ARE climate changes we have no control over. But see, dufuss, they don't happen this fast and never have - at least in the last 650,000 years.

You might enjoy the National Geographic's pic series on the effects of man-made global warming.

Stupid,
Victoria Toensing in her own words:

When the act was passed, Congress had no intention of prosecuting a reporter who wanted to expose wrongdoing and, in the process, once or twice published the name of a covert agent. Novak is safe from indictment. But Congress also did not intend for government employees to be vulnerable to prosecution for an unintentional or careless spilling of the beans about an undercover identity. A dauntingly high standard was therefore required for the prosecutor to charge the leaker.

FLASH!! IMPORTANT:>>At the threshold, the agent must truly be covert. Her status as undercover must be classified, and she must have been assigned to duty outside the United States currently or in the past five years. This requirement does not mean jetting to Berlin or Taipei for a week's work. It means permanent assignment in a foreign country. Since Plame had been living in Washington for some time when the July 2003 column was published, and was working at a desk job in Langley (a no-no for a person with a need for cover), THERE IS SERIOUS LEGAL QUESTION AS TO WHETHER SHE QUALIFIES AS COVERT.<<

Idiot:

Doesn't sound to me like someone who has "no idea."

Read the Scientific American article I reference and see if the first couple of paragraphs don't describe to a "T" what is happening today regarding climate change, only it was 13,000 years ago. If I'm not mistaken there weren't any republicans around to destroy everything....moron.
